Interesting article, but as for Clayton Moore, maybe he just didn't want that photographer to be the one to photograph him without his mask. His home clearly is not one of a cowboy. Maybe he wanted to present to the public as his persona and keep his private identity to himself and private. He certainly short-circuited talk of who the woman in the picture over the sofa was by keeping his cowboy hat and mask on.
